Consider coluor coding document items in documents so that standard items are green; customised items (description only) are yellow; customised items (price) are amber; and completely custom items are red.
Consider colour coding those items that do not have a cost price, helping identifying missing margin.
This should display at both the items and group level.
An onscreen legend should explain the colour system.
